Withe is the operating system for career fairs. We work with chambers of commerce, employment centres, workforce agencies, and economic development offices across Canada to run their hiring events and prove the outcomes to the people who fund them.
You'd work directly with Withe's founder on the GTM and operations side of the business, across sales, partnerships, customer success, and growth for a three-month term, with the option to extend.
You'll have the opportunity to produce real outcomes: building and testing prospect lists, researching partnership angles, running follow-up with organizers who've seen a demo, and shaping the systems that make all of it repeatable. As trust builds, you'll take on account management and operations work too, helping accounts succeed.
We're looking for someone who is high agency, and ideally a future founder or entrepreneur.
What you'd work on
Growth and GTM is the core. Finding the organizations that should be using Withe and figuring out how to reach them. Building targeted prospect lists, drafting outreach, supporting partnership and referral plays, and helping turn demos into customers. You'll also help with content, mostly LinkedIn.
Operations and account management is the second half. Helping existing customers get value, keeping accounts healthy, building the onboarding and communication sequences, and helping automate the repetitive work so it stops eating time.
We'll tackle whole problems, not task lists. You figure out the approach, use whatever tools get you there fastest, and come back with progress.
Who this is for
You're entrepreneurial. You've taken initiative to start something. A side project, a club, a small business, an event that didn't exist until you made it happen. You're the kind of person who sees a gap and fills it without waiting to be asked.
You're genuinely AI-native. You build things with AI that you couldn't have built otherwise, and you understand that the tools available right now have changed what one person can do. You'll have access to Claude and whatever else helps you move faster.
You're a strong, clear communicator who can write something a customer would actually want to read.
You're a current post-secondary student in Canada with Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee status, and you'll still be enrolled for at least the first month of the internship. This is required for the funding that supports the role.
Vancouver-based is ideal so we can work in person one or two days a week, but I'm open to remote for the right person.
The details
Three-month term, roughly twenty to thirty hours a week, with flexibility around your school schedule. $20–25/hour depending on experience, supported in part through Venture For Canada's internship program. If the role works well for both of us, there is an opportunity to extend.
How to apply
Instead of a resume, send me a short email with the following:
- One thing you've built or automated with AI that you couldn't have done without it. What it was, why you made it, and what you learned.
- Something you started that didn't need to exist. A project, a hustle, a club, anything where you saw a gap and filled it.
- A 90-second video telling me about yourself and why you're a great fit for this role, specifically. (We recommend Loom.)
Send to hello@withe.co. I read and watch every one.
