We're building a video interview platform for high volume hiring that allows candidates to connect instantly with recruiters. We believe that hiring is a human process that can be made more efficient with the right technology. Companies are struggling to fill their roles, and the current hiring process can be inefficient and time-consuming for both recruiters and candidates. We want to change that by providing a fast and effective platform that streamlines the hiring process, allowing companies to find the best candidates faster and reducing the time-to-hire for open positions. With the right technology, in-person interviews can be extremely efficient without damaging the candidate experience.

As a full-stack software engineer at Withe, you will play a critical role in building our on-demand video interview platform. Most of our data is processed in real-time, so your work will involve ensuring that every client receives updates as quickly as possible, and that our system keeps running smoothly with hundreds of thousands of active clients. We have an ambitious roadmap, but we are still a small team so you will have a lot of ownership over the direction of the product.
This is a full-time role, and we're looking for candidates who are based in North American time zones. We are headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, but you can find us all over North America, working remotely from Whistler to Toronto, and everywhere in-between.
There's an unparalleled level of ownership, impact, and asymmetric upside that comes with joining a company at this stage. We've raised our pre-seed round from top-tier Silicon Valley venture investors and are looking to grow our team to help us scale our product and business.
What's the interview like?
We respect your time and want to make sure that you have a great experience with us (many candidates have told us we have the best interview process they've seen, and we want to keep it that way). We'll start with a 30-minute call to get to know each other and make sure that we're a good fit. If we're both excited about working together, we'll schedule a 1.5-hour technical interview. This will not be leetcode! It will be more similar to a pair-programming session, where we'll work together to solve a problem. Finally we will set up a meeting where you can meet some of the team you'll be working with and ask any questions you have.
