Step 5: Indicate interest in employers (optional)

Let employers know you’re interested before the fair so they can review your profile and follow up, even if you don’t connect live during the event.

How indicating interest works

Once you are registered for the fair, you’ll see a heart icon next to each participating employer.

  1. Find an employer you’re interested in.
  2. Click the heart icon to indicate interest.

When you indicate interest:

  • The employer receives your name and email
  • If you’ve uploaded a resume, it will be shared as well
  • Employers can follow up before or after the fair, even if you don’t connect during the event.

This helps employers prepare for conversations and reach out proactively.

Important notes

  • You must be registered for the fair to indicate interest
  • Browsing employers is available before and after registration
  • Indicating interest does not book a meeting or guarantee a conversation, but it helps employers know you’re interested

Tip: Indicating interest early gives employers more time to review your profile and follow up with you ahead of the event.
