We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that all concrete work meets the highest standards of quality and appearance, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to the finishing and curing of concrete surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, sidewalks, roads, or curbs, using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Level, shape, and trowel concrete surfaces to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
- Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surfaces, ensuring durability and strength.
- Monitor the effects of weather and environmental conditions on the curing process, making adjustments as needed.
- Repair and resurface existing concrete structures, as well as patching voids and defects in new concrete.
- Set and align forms to ensure proper concrete placement and alignment according to project specifications.
