Build Feedback Forms

Create participant and employer feedback forms that send automatically after the fair.

Article 11Fair organizersReviewed 2026-08-12

Goal

Create feedback forms that collect fair feedback from participants and booths/employers, so you can measure satisfaction, capture qualitative comments, and improve future fairs.

When to use this

  • You want to collect feedback after the event
  • You want to reuse a feedback form from a previous fair

What you’ll need

  • Organizer access to the fair
  • A short list of questions you want to ask after the fair (optional)

Where feedback forms live

In your fair, click Forms in the left sidebar. You will see:

  • Participant feedback form

Sent to everyone who registered one hour after the fair ends.

  • Booth feedback form

Sent to all employers/booths one hour after the fair ends.

Each form has its own More (⋮), Add field, and Preview controls, and a green Saved indicator — your changes save automatically.

Both feedback forms include a Rating and Comments field by default and are emailed 1 hour after the fair ends.

Both forms come ready to use. Each already includes:

  • Rating — a 1-click rating with four options: Poor, Average, Good, Excellent
  • Comments — an optional free-text box

Recipients can answer the rating straight from the email, then add comments and answer any extra questions you add.

The rating uses four faces — Poor, Average, Good, and Excellent — followed by comments and any questions you added.

Step 1: Add a field (optional)

  1. Click Add field.
  2. Select the field type you want (Text, Select, Multi-select, Number, URL, etc.).
Click Add field to choose a question type.

Step 2: Configure the field

After adding a field, click the edit (pencil) icon to set:

  • Label (the question the participant sees)
  • Help text (optional)
  • Placeholder (optional)
  • Optional toggle (required vs optional)

For Select and Multi-select fields, add options under Select options.

Edit a field to set the label, help text, placeholder, and options.

Step 3: Reorder, edit, or delete fields

From the form builder you can:

  • Drag and drop to reorder fields
  • Edit (pencil icon)
  • Delete (trash icon)

Step 4: Preview your form

Click Preview to test the experience: the rating (Poor → Excellent), comments, and any extra questions you added.

There is no Save button — your changes are already saved.

Step 5: Import or share the form (optional)

Click More (⋮) on the form you want to work with:

  • Import — reuse a feedback form you built for a previous fair. Select the fair to import from, then review the fields.
  • Share — choose Copy URL to copy the form link, or View form to open it yourself.

Field ideas (common examples)

Important notes

  • The rating is captured immediately when the recipient chooses a rating in the email.
  • Changes to your forms save automatically — there is no Save button.

Troubleshooting

I added a Select/Multi-select field and it says “Missing options”

Edit the field and add at least one option.
