Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to support the implementation of behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. A Behavior Technician is responsible for carrying out behavior intervention plans as designed by a BCBA, collecting data on client behavior, and providing direct support to clients. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients achieve positive behavioral outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Provide direct one-on-one or small group support to clients in various settings, including schools, clinics, or home environments.
- Collect accurate and detailed data on client behavior, including frequency, duration, and intensity of specific behaviors.
- Assist in conducting assessments and provide feedback to the supervising BCBA on client progress.
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent application of behavior management strategies across different settings.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, behavior data, and progress reports.

Requirements and Skills
