Setting up your booth profile (Employers)

Set your default organization profile, then customize your booth for a specific fair from the booth menu.

Article 15EmployersReviewed 2026-08-12

Goal

Set up your booth profile so participants see the right information when they visit your booth, including your company description, website, and roles you are hiring for.

When to use this

  • You are attending a fair and want your booth to be accurate and up to date
  • You want a default company profile that applies across all fairs
  • You want to customize your booth for a specific fair (different description, add jobs, assign team members)

What you’ll need

  • Access to your Withe account
  • Access to the organization that is participating in the fair (Member or Admin)
  • (Optional) A list of jobs and team members you want assigned to the fair

Overview

There are two layers to your booth profile:

  1. Organization profile (default)

Your organization website and description act as the default profile for all fairs you attend with that organization.

  2. Fair-specific booth settings (per fair)

Inside a specific fair, you can customize booth details just for that event, including:

  • Booth description (a fair-specific description)
  • Assigned jobs (roles you are hiring for at this fair)
  • Assigned members (who is working the booth)

Step-by-step

Step 1: Update your default organization profile

  1. To update your organization profile, check out:

    1. 4. Manage your organization profile

Step 2: Open the fair you are participating in

  1. From the Withe home page, find the fair under Upcoming or This week.
  2. Click View fair.
Find the Fair you want to update your booth profile in and click View fair.

Step 3: Open your booth tools for that fair

  1. In the fair, click Your booth in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Menu (top-right of the page).

This opens the booth menu, which has more actions than just editing or deleting.

The booth menu has four actions: Assign members, Close booth, Edit booth, and Delete booth.

Step 4: Use the booth menu actions

From Menu, you can choose:

Edit booth

Update the booth name, logo, and description for this specific fair.

Use this when your branding or message for this event is different than your default organization profile.

Editing your booth changes the name or description of the booth for this specific fair.

Assign members

Choose which teammates have access to this booth for this fair.

Close booth

Temporarily mark your booth as closed during the fair (for example, during a break) without removing it from the fair.

Delete booth

Remove your organization’s booth from the fair

Use this if you are no longer attending the event.

Important notes

  • Default vs fair-specific: Updating your organization profile updates the default across fairs. Editing your booth updates only that fair.
  • Use jobs to clarify what you are hiring for: Candidates can access the roles you are hiring for before the event. Assigning jobs makes your booth stand out and lets candidates know what roles you’re hiring for. You can add as many roles as you’d like.
  • Assign members so the right people have access: This helps keep the booth team accurate for the event.

Troubleshooting

I do not see the organization I expect

You may be logged into the wrong account, or you may not have access to that organization. Confirm you are using the email that was invited and that you have been added to the organization.

My updates are not showing

Make sure you clicked Update organization (for org profile changes) or saved your booth changes (for fair-specific edits).

I changed my organization description, but this fair still shows the old one

Your booth may have a fair-specific description set. Use Menu → Edit booth to confirm what is set for that fair.
