We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. A Paramedic is responsible for delivering advanced life support (ALS) in emergency situations, assessing patient conditions, and performing necessary medical procedures on-site. The ideal candidate will respond swiftly to emergency calls, providing advanced medical care and transport for critically ill or injured patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical assistance, such as CPR or bandaging wounds.
- Quickly assess a patient’s condition and determine the best course of treatment.
- Transport patients safely in an ambulance.
- Administer first aid or life support to patients who are sick or injured.
- Transfer patients to emergency departments or other healthcare facilities.
- Document all medical treatments from the scene of the emergency to the transfer of care at a healthcare facility.
- Operate ambulance equipment and respond to radio transmissions.
- Replace, clean, and restock supplies and equipment after each emergency call.
- Lead and coordinate the response team during emergencies.
- Write and submit accurate incident reports and adhere to medical protocols and legal guidelines.
Requirements and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a state-approved paramedic training program.
- State licensure as a Paramedic is required.
